Would you do a deal lik marvin/zaza for camby and first or second pick?

How many would perfer Nene? How does there game compare?

camby's too old for the young hawks , he's only got 1 maybe 2 good years in him IF that.

if a trade was likely to happen it would be for nene , he's much younger and it would take a little less to get him being his value isn't as high as camby's

what kind of player is he? dos he have alow post game? is he a go man up defender? and can block or change shots? I really have not sen him play fully healthy/

Nene is injury prone and grossly over paid for what he gives you on the court.

Camby is a stat guy that plays horrible defense and wants to be traded so that he can get up more shots.

So...neither.

Nene could do all of those things if he were ever healthy. he just has never shown it. He is a good post defender, he challanges shots, he is a strong rebounder and while not a great post player, he can score with a variety of moves around the basket.

A HEALTHY Nene is worth trading for. With that said, so is a healthy Jermaine O'neal. But the likelihood of them remaining healthy is pretty low.

Denver is trying to purge salary and it known that hey will go no higer than a MLE to keep him

Camby is more of a fantasy player than an actual contributor. Denver fans consider him a wrose defender than Martin/Nene despite Camby winning the DPOY last year. He is also old/injury prone and I expect him to hit a very steep decline soon.

I think a player like Nene is worth the risk if they are willing to give him away to avoid luxury tax problems(remember Denver has 3 max contract players along with Camby,Nene,and soon to be JR Smith). I would jump all over Bibby for Nene/Atkins trade.

You have to take risks to get good big men. I don't think this board understands that which is why people didn't want Haywood last year and why Tyson Chandler was traded for an expiring contract.

No one wanted to do Shelden for Haywood..Shelden for Andre Miller...now no one wants to trade Smith for Melo or expiring contracts for Nene.

Camby is a poor man defender, and according to Nuggets' fans on an off-RealGM board, Nene has NO heart. Don't see how either of those guys would justify the long-term commitment.

IMO, the Hawks don't necessarily need a starting center. They simply need toughness and depth.

Haywood and Chandler= not injury prone. If you want to take a risk, you take a risk on a guy getting better, not a guy that is brittle all of a sudden not. Like I said, if thats the case, trade for Jermaine O'neal.

I would trade Nene for expirings. I wouldnt trade a contributor for him though. Just because you aren't sure if he can contribute.

And I disagree with the heart comments about Nene. he plays hard as hell everytime he goes out there, and isn't afraid to get in someones face.

There used to be a poster over on another Nuggets' board who worked inside the organization, and according to him, Nene was constantly frustrating them with his lack of desire.

The potential there is HUGE. But at $10M/per??? It would depend on the who the Hawks send out. There were claims that the Nuggets were shopping him for expirings last year, and found no takers.

If the Hawks were able to send Claxton's contract, I'd be tempted. Otherwise, no thanks.

I just want to add that any frontcourt player with a substantial contract needs to have 3 years or less, so that you can afford to pay Horford those big bucks down the road. (Not to mention the big bucks that you're going to give Josh Smith).

I would look at Brad Miller if it were me.

I like the idea of getting another low post player to help out Horford. If all it would take is Marvina's girlish game, i'd do it for either one of them.
