Did anyone read his article about Kobe?

A little overboard or does this strike a chord with you?

Scoops Jackson gets on my nerves, but this was interesting. And I always enjoy it when there are references to "The Wire" in articles.

As for the content, it was a little overboard. That was what MJ was like though.

Also, I hate when Kobe is referred to as the best player of his generation like Shaq and Duncan haven't owned the league since MJ retired the second time.

I hate every article that pretends that Kobe wants to win the championship more than anyone else. Brian Scalabrine wants to win that championship just as much as Kobe. Kobe has the skills to do something about it. But don't downgrade everyone elses dedication to the game and their want to win because Kobe is a great player. Thats BS and its annoying me.

And I have long figured out that "best player" is really "most highlights". I mean, it depends on what you consider this generation, but I don't see how you can put him ahead of duncan or Shaq no matter where you are drawing the line since Kobe got in the league.

I wanted to dust this off to say that maybe Paul Pierce is thirsting more than Kobe.
