Hawks forward Al Horford (top) listens to a lecture during one of his two summer classes at the University of Florida. Despite the fame and fortune of being an NBA player, Horford is still working toward a degree in telecommunications

Horford does seem like a solid guy though.

I believe Josh is continuing his studies as well. It shows the type of dedication they have to achieve their goals.

Well that's what I would be doing if I went back, but I believe that Horford is actually working toward the degree. What I'm more concerned about is if Horford is hitting the weights this summer while he's down there hitting the books. If he's going to play on the low block he's got to get even stronger.

did u not see the picture of him lifting weights at his old Florida weight room?

I bet florida's weightroom is just as nice as what the hawks have access to.

Nope missed the photo. I read most of the story from one of the digest sites (Hoopsworld I think) before the full link was posted here. I agree with killbuckner that the Florida weight room is probably as nice or nicer than the Hawks facilities.
