If we don't win the gold medal this year we'll never win it again.

A little melodramatic, but I think they should win if Kobe plays like he did last year. There is a possible problem in that he's coming off a long season.

I don't fully agree with the roster choices, but it is hard to cover all bets on a 12-man roster. The 2 players I don't agree with are Carlos Boozer and Dwayne Wade. Boozer is a bit undersized considering he is one of the 3 bigs. I would have went with Tyson Chandler although I guess they see him as too one dimensional. As for Dwayne Wade I believe his playing style doesn't fit international ball. He doesn't have a great shot from outside and he won't have NBA rules paving the way to the basket. That could affect Chris Paul as well, but he is so fast that he can overcome. I'd rather have a shooter at that spot like Mike Miller or Paul Pierce.

Does anyone see a Hawk getting to represent in 2012? How about Al, does he get to represent us or the Dominican Republic (do they field a team?)?

I'd like to see Al Horford represent the Dominican Republic (would be the case) and Josh Smith represent the United States.
