The Hawks played real inspiring during the playoffs. I am a Knickās fan right now. And I am not feeling what they have been up to. With the new Regime entering New York in I thinking about jumping on the Hawks Bandwagon!
Horford/ Zaza
Williams/ Jones
SF
Johnson
Bibby/ Law
What is going to happen with Josh Smith, Josh Chidress and Speedy Claxton?

Smith and Chill will likely be resigned.
Marvin isn't a pf.

Don't know about Childress, but J.Smith should be matched/resigned. If not, I'm jumping off the bandwagon. Speedy Claxon... well you might as well count him out.
Horford/Diop (FA)
Smith/Solomon
Marvin/Chill?
JJ/Jarvis Hayes (FA)
Bibby/Law

Speedy wants to try to come back again, but realistically is probably done because of damage to the knees.
All indications are that Josh Smith will be resigned and therefore starting at PF. The big question becomes what the dollar value of his deal will be.
I'm not so sure about Childress long term. I believe the team that it is a priority to resign him this year. I just don't know if he's still a Hawk 2 summers from now. It will depend on several factors like the development of Marvin Williams, the development of other bench players taking minutes from our top sub, the level of contract he gets this summer, whether he becomes a BYC player and whether he's in demand on the trade market.

I do sort of wonder if at some point Marvin will end up at PF. Just that he never really develops his 3 point shot. He takes the Joe Smith route of bulking up some and becoming a useful PF who can step out and knock down an open jumper.

I think Marv ever getting strong enough to play PF full time is less likely than him being able to hit the 3. He is like Duran with the narrow shoulders, although his noodle arms aren't as offending.
