...... alright it has been over a year now, we need to get a vote here. it was a good effort, i understand the situation, but it is over, it is over year old, and i think something needs to be done. it was a good run, but it is 2008 now.

no knock on Conley but it is tough to argue the pick in retrospect with Horford being as all-around impressive as he was this year

i think the name should be kept.

To me it's kind of become his identity. If he changes it will take some getting used to.

With all the guards the Memphis has, perhaps COB is still hoping something can get done. Don't wait on the ASG to do anything this productive.
I kinda like the name; hey, look what I signed up with? I thought we had TD locked down for years! HAHA! He was a great collegian though.

I remember he discussed signing up again after the draft, but decided to keep it because he had posted so much that he had developed an identity. The name doesn't bother me because he was on here pre-draft. Now if he had a Shelden Williams based screen name I might be pushing for a change.

I have a topic devoted to me? I have to say I'm flattered, I have a lot of people to thank for this. Chris Paul, Speedy Claxton, and Mike Conley Jr., I wouldn't have had the screen name if it weren't for you guys.

I believe my exact response to the question "are you going to change your name if they don't draft Conley?" was "Yes, it will be a constant reminder of what we could have had."

Of course, Horford turned out to be awsome but I still like Conley and I ain't going back on my word.

If you are going to suggest the name change, at least throw me a suggestion, "Horfordwasasolidchoice" comes to mind.

I'd only take a short time for me to get use to a new name. So, if you want it let me know.

I'm not really feeling "Horfordwasasolidchoice". It's just too much to type like in the following examples, "I agree with Horfordwasasolidchoice" or "Like Horfordwasasolidchoice said" or "Horfordwasasolidchoice is an idiot". I'd be too tired to really finish the thought. Also, it doesn't shorten easy like "cob", I mean "hwasc"? What's that? Would the "H" be silent?

"hatr" that's pretty good, but I already said that I don't think you should change. Look at me, I haven't actually been Evil for almost a full year, but I kept the name. Mainly because nicedallas would get me beat up.
