The glaring omission is Brain Butch.

I think Luke Jackson and Mario West are shoo-in's to make the final roster. I think Jeremy Richardson has an outside shoot, but Jackson's NBA experience may help him.

I am not familiar with bigs...except for Justin Williams.

I don't see Luke Jackson making it. He has falling in the cracks of the NBA as of late.

Isn't Justin Williams the guy the Hawks were talking about signing after the Bibby trade?

I think Richardson is better than Jackson...although that's not saying much if you heard what Miami fans said about Jackson last year. He was the worst player on an NBDL team at the end of last year.

I'd like to bring back both West and Richardson. Justin Williams is also interesting. He blocked an insane amount of shots in college. Hopefully he doesn't have Solo's fouling problem.

I'm most excited for Wayne Simien. Dude was a beast in college. I think he's better than Solomon Jones, Mario West, Jeremy Richardson, all of them. You know the Hawks are gonna be crappy when the only players we're getting excited about are summer league scrubs.

Simien's health hasn't been that good in the pros. We lost Brian Butch, but gained Justin Williams.

Marcus Hubbard is the guy I'm interested in seeing. He played well at the draft camp. I doubt he makes any noise, but I'm just intrigued.

Williams and Simien could make this team. Those are two bigs the Hawks could use and they will be cheap.

Justin Williams seems to have the best shot out of the non-returnees.

I sure hope Williams can play well and make the team.I wanted him after the Kings cut him to make room for the garbage we sent them for Bibby.Williams played for OKC also in the Orlanda league.

This is from Sekou blog in one of the posts Sekou made. It is from today blog and it talk about Solomon.

JJ mentioned that he spoke to Solomon about summer league and the importance of being there. But Solomon Jones is his own man and made his own decision. We’ll know the consequences of that action by training camp.

Solomon isn't going to play? Not exactly the decision you would expect from someone on the fringe without a guaranteed contract for this year. Sounds like he's opening the door for a guy like Justin Williams to make a move.
