I've seen it before and still don't like it. I don't believe we have the lineup to hid Eddy Curry's shortcomings with respect to rebounding and defense. I also don't believe we can add his personality to the locker room and hope to become a successful team. The trade is a value trade on paper because of Curry's offense skill (and because of how little is being given up), it's just too bad that Curry has more negatives than positives traveling with him.

If the nicks were open to such a deal, i doubt the Hawks decline. Curry/Horford/Smith/Johnson/Bibby for a season wouldnt be so bad, especially when Curry comes off in 2010, and Bibby next season. If in 2009 we sign a backup PG and C and leave more than 8million or so in space for the next year, we will likely end up with around 14mil in space in 2010 + Joes contract expires which means another 15mil off the books. 30mil off the books we can potentially sign TWO stars (one if we resign Joe). Imagine a Joe+Bosh core along with Horford and Smith.
