James White?

Has anyone heard the latest news about James White to ATL? I hope he gets a shot with us on our preseason squad. He and Smoove are "arguably" the two most athletic guys in the NBA 2 their sizes and they could end up playing together this year. Can you imagine the Hawks' running game with those two flying up-n-down the floor with Bibby / Sppedy / Law pushing the rock?

Highlight Factory may blow the roof off with these two...

He's certainly a highlight reel, but I would only want him if he's improved his all around game, and I'm not convinced he's done that. It seems as if he continues to live off his dunks and that's all that ever gets mentioned about him.

Sign the dude!!!! i am bias, i am a big fan. if White can use what he has got and concentrate on defense and rebounding, then he can find a place in the NBA, and maybe do what Bruce Bowen is doing. Maybe White can end up being more effective than Chil.

There's a reason that he can jump like that and still isn't in the NBA.

Can he shoot efficiently from the perimeter?
Can he take care of the ball?
Can he create his own shot?
Can he play solid team defense?
Can he get to the free throw line?
Can he rebound in traffic?

if jumping is his only plus skill, he's probably got a career lined up in the circus...
