Does Smoove have any reason to be upset about the money 'Dre and others got? I'd say no myself, since nobody forced his hand on the Memphis offer.

But I'm curious whether (a) he's the slightest bit peeved, or could care less, and (b) whether the deals the other FAs got this summer (relative to his) gets him extra-motivated to excel.

The truth of it is that his 5/58M deal is roughly equivalent to 6/72M, so it's only the incentives that differ in most of these deal. We'll see if they earn the incentives.
