Out of market...

How can I get access to Hawks games if I'm out of market? Do I need NBA League Pass? How much does it cost, and what if my carrier doesn't offer it?

LP is the way to go. There are also ways to watch games online, but I don't want to get in trouble and post it here, so just email me if you want that info.

A non dodgy way is League Pass Broadband.
I live in Australia, and I purchase it for, off the top of my head $180-$220 USD.
It gives you every live streaming game that is not on ESPN or NBA TV. For a Hawks fan, that's about 80 games a a season, plus all the other teams.
If you can sort that out, it's a great option.
For whatever reason, in Australia it's usually not available until about 20 games into the season.

Are you sure you paid these kind of numbers ?
The official prices these past two years were $129 for 2006/07 season, and $99 for last season (2007/08, maybe $99 was not from the start of the season), with a day pass for $5.95.
But it is not available in all countries (only 15), even if it's not explained on the main page:
LinkAt this moment, there is no season pass price, only day pass.

the website says LP broadband will not be sold alone...I have to get it with the TV version also. The problem there is that I don't think my carrier offers that, and I'm in a dorm so I don't know how that would work out with my individual room.
