6. Joe Johnson (he's growing on me and I got to low five him on his way to the court on Saturday)

9. Mario West (it's the effort)
10. Lou Hudson (edging out Truck Robinson and Steve Smith)

and my Least Favorite 5:
Isaiah Rider (caused me to stop watching)
Antoine Walker (hated the tone he set while here)
Alan Henderson (promise unfulfilled)
Jon Konchak (contract might have kept the team from adding the necessary pieces in the late 80s)
Al Harrington (felt his presence held back the rebuilding process)

I started following the Hawks in '93 so i didn't see much of Nique.

Hard to call anyone a favorite after those guys.

lol How can R. wallace, Zaza, and J. Smith make your list when we have a guy who's been one of the best all around SGs in this league and wanted to be a Hawk when no one else did just can't ? If that's about the fav. Hawks players ever, you should consider what they have done for this team, I mean, I love Horford's game, but he's got a long way to go to make my list just to give you an example.

So, here's my list:

2. S. Smith
3. Mutombo
4. JOE JOHNSON

I do NOT think anyone else (at least in the last 5 years) deserve to be part of that list. Jus my take on that.

First, since it's fav players, my #1 has to go to the guy who came here when he knew the bad situation, and wanted to turn it around, so:

6. Horford (Don't like the Gators, UK Wildcats fan, but after pointing down at Paul Pierce, nuff said.)

How does people feel about Jason (trashes us when he left) Terry?

10.Ricky Grace Only played like three games for the Hawks, But played a heap in Australia and was always my favorite here so he gets a nod .. Snoopy Graham played for a team in our local league, (I think Kalgoorlie, a country town here) ...He scored 82 pts in one game!! Then went to the Hawks..)

Almost made my bottom five. Thought he was disruptive (and a jerk) his last year here and didn't like all the talk after he left (even if a lot of it was true). I forgave him a little because he was so tainted by losing that it would have never worked long term here.

I loved Grant Long. How many self-made men do you see in the NBA? They all work; Grant Long WORKED.

If you put GL's head (and heart, I know you mean that, too) on Smoove's body, the result would either redefine basketball or cause a nuclear explosion.

'Sheed is LL's favorite player in the NBA. Plus, do you remember that one game? When he almost got in a fight backing up Jason Collier? Hilarious.

(Good call on the Pistol - how could I overlook him?! Also, some of you probably don't remember, but we had Dr. J for about 3 or 4 preseason games before the league intervened and said our contract with him was illegal)
