Im not to nervous about this game, I think that the Hawks got a good wake up call the past few games and should and hopefully come out with a fire to win. Its been a bad weekend with the 2 Hawks losses and the Falcon lost. Hopefully the Hawks can set our week off right!!
Is it to much to ask for a team that plays hard and cares? Seems so.

I'm still bitter today after the awful weekend.

You forget Mike Woodson is still our coach.

But it will be interesting to see how this team responds to bad losses and streaks this season. That will truly tell if they've grown or not. Last year I remember the Hawks got off to a hot start too but after the first losing streak all confidence was lost.

I think we'll hit rock bottom on Tuesday. We always struggle with the Pacers and they have a PG who can get into the lane and hurt us a la Devin Harris.

Is Joe going to have spend a lot of time covering Ford? If so, someone else will have to step up offensively as he will have to expend a ton of effort on D. J

Didn't we get our butt kicked at Indiana in both meetings last season? However, it did seem like Flip always went off on us a lot. We really could use a W, but we've never played well here. Does anyone know the game that Smith is expected to be back in?

Pacers favored by 2 at home with 203.5 as the O/U.

Vegas has caught up with the Hawks slumping D and raised the O/U, but I still suspect the over is the wise bet.

Ford is going to kill us. They also have Granger who is a beast. We're just going to have to play good sound help defense because players are going to get beat off the dribble. We're going to have to hit our shots in this game. But, they don't have too much down low so hopefully we can dominate the paint.

The problem with JJ guarding Ford is that Granger would just kill us. The Pacers are the kind of team that plays hard specially at home. They're not great, but I'm sure the Hawks will have trouble there tonight. Hopefully we'll come out winners, cause the bad streak's been long enough.
GO HAWKS.

I think JJ is effective on PGs like Nelson or Dre Miller who aren't super-quick. I don't like him on Harris, Rose, or Ford because he is only going to be able to do a little more than Bibby on those guys but the impact of him trying to keep up with a little PG all game is a lot worse on offense.

Granger has cooled off a little, especially after taking a game for injury, he's still a tough player to cover but I wouldn't say he's a better player than VC who we got a double dose of over the weekend.

Up front they have Rasho, Troy Murphy, and Foster and maybe a suprise Bropez-like appearance from Hibbert. The important thing is going to be be keeping these guys off the glass. If we can get a decent dose of Solo and Al, they can cover the D glass and beat the fairly unathletic Indy frontcourt down for easy transition baskets. If they let the bigger Indy front line eat the offensive glass all night, we will be in for a lot of trouble. Woody is going to have to be smart with his small ball, if we don't force Indy to adjust, he needs to go big again.

This is tough, every game is winnable but Indy has been playing well as a team this season and we are missing Josh. The key is going to be to stay disciplined and exploit their slow frontcourt while not letting Ford walk all over us.

WOW. Nique with a "night off." It's only a matter of time until Mike Glenn takes his spot.

I hate how Marvin lets other young promissing forwards like Danny, Rudy, Thad, Thorton, Deng play him.... it is like Marvin doesn't have any pride when he gets punked by these guys.

Is the scoreboard too far into the corner of the TV screen on anyone else's feed?

Zaza sure is coming up big.....NOT. It amazes me how he can defend the pick and roll without even remotely hindering the dribbler or the guy rolling to the basket. That takes talent.
