Guess I'll have to listen to Holman tonight.
I hope we can get a nice cushion early and get Josh back into a rhythm slowly.

It isn't in Smith's nature to play within himself. he is more likely to be hyper and all over the place.
It also isn't like Woody to "manage" anyone's minutes due to injury. If Smith plays less than 30 minutes i would be surprised, unless it is a blowout.

That's true. I looked back that Detroit game a couple of years back where Josh returned from the sports hernia. He logged 30 minutes.
I read an article from Sekou today that had some quotes from Josh saying he was going to take it slow. But I don't think he knows how to do that.

i look for a blowout in this one. the grillies scoring comes from their small forward and shooting guard position, however, these are the easier positions for the hawks to defend. i think we'll be able to beat them easily +10 scoring margin.
P.S. i think this is going to be memphis last year of sucking. why???

i thought that the rumored trade for outlaw would have been a steal for the grizzlies. as we should know by now it's a great bench that leads to winning. if they could get a decent 2 guard for warrick and then luck up (they need it) and get griffin they would be an 8th seed by next year.

offense on the first team and defense/three point shooting on the second team. i think they could win.

I expect a close game. Hawks have shown they cannot put away teams that they were supposed to put away. Mayo and Rudy are going to be tough to guard. I sure would like to see them play.

I would love to get my hands on Conley. He's been bad this year but he showed flashes of great court vision his first year and will be very solid if he works on his shooting and gets the right coaching. Plus his value is probably as low as it gets right now.
Anyways, can't wait to see Josh tonight and hopefully this also means we stop giving opposing PG and C career games.

Well this is pretty gay that the game isn't being televised on Josh Smith first game back. But I expect to see a blow out in this one. Go Hawks!!!

Fellas im at this game and its unbeleivable how different they look with Josh in the lineup. It sure makes me feel better! I was at the Bucks game and we look nothing like that now!

Seems as if Josh was a bit shy during the first quarter. The second quarter seemed to be different and it's as if he has more confidence that his ankle is going to be fine. Great second quarter and now we need to carry it over to the second half.

We all know Smith is an impact player. Plus his backups suck.
It is definitely a relief having him back. No way the Hawks would be up 20 without him.

Coach Woodson needs to use his bench during the later part of the fourth if we still have some distances between us and Memphis.
Starting Saturday the first three games of the road trip will be very difficult.
Sat, Dec 6 at Dallas 8:30 pm
Tue, Dec 9 at Houston 8:30 pm
Wed, Dec 10 at San Antonio 8:30 pm
