A win tonight against a divisional rival would be huge. It would be nice to get some confidence back before we come back home for a while.

it is funny how the Hawks have success doing exactly what we say they should do.
Horford gets the ball on the perimeter, drives by his man quickly for a reverse dunk 3 pt play. Bibby runs a pick and roll with Smith. Smith rolls to the basket and bibby hits him for an easy score. Smith gets the ball in the post, the defense sags and he hits Bibby for a wide open 3. The Hawks push the ball on the break and get easy shots.
But when they do their normal offense with 1 guy dribbling and the rest standing around they turn it over and force up bad shots.
Marvin has been crap lately.

Well, it took half of the first quarter to score again, but at least we finally played like an athletic for at least the 3rd quarter. Keep the ball moving and run, run, run!

That's consecutive solid games by the Hawks. The Hawks only went 1-3 on the trip but we had a chance to win every one of those games going down the stretch despite trailing by double digits in all 4. They need to start playing with that sense of urgency before they are down 11-0 though. Hopefully they can go on a nice little run on this home stand.

They better get plenty of rest.
None of the Cleveland team ( the entire team) logged more than 35 minutes tonight....and Lebron only played 24 minutes tonight.
In comparison, Woody decides to play Joe almost 40 minutes tonight.....Bibby plays 35....and Marvin plays 37.....even when we were up 20, they were still in the game.
I just hope we bring the energy tomorrow night....cause Cleveland will be rested...literally!

+1. We shot ourselves in the foot at Dallas, and were right there in the fourth quarter against two very good teams' buildings. I have no problems with where this team is right now.

The fact that they let teams get early leads is a problem. They don't look very motivated and they aren't playing intelligently at all. I'm not worried (yet), but I really don't want to see a repeat of the last Cleveland game.

The team is definitely playing better now than they were before the Texas trip but they need to stop putting themselves in a hole right at the start of the game. It is getting ridiculous.
We caught a break that they were without Beasley.
Smith took 6 jumpers (3 threes) and missed them all. But when he went inside he either scored or got to the line every time. He also had some nice kickouts to Bibby and JJ for 3s. I keep thinking that one day he will get a clue but it may be just wishful thinking.
Marvin sure has sucked lately. WTF is he doing with those out of control drives?

^^^ The best shot from Josh was where he was WIDE open from outside the arc when we were up big in the fourth, he lined up his shot for a while and got his feet set, and then missed everything wide right. That was a truly special shot.
