BTW...tonight's game is game number 23.....how ironic!

But the energy will be sky high tonight! I hope the Hawks come prepared and ready to do battle!

Apparently they will be without Big Z and Gibson. The Hawks have been pretty lucky with opposing team injuries. Beasley was out last night.

We sent a message last night but blowing a divisional rival out of the water. We can send an even bigger one this evening by beating one of the top teams in the EC.

Good point.

Cleveland has won 11 straight. To make a bigger statement we would need to beat Boston who's won 14 straight and we may get that chance this Wednesday. Let's get past Cleveland and Charlotte first.

Good start for the Hawks so far 27-17, better than the starts on the Texas Triangle. Hopefully they can get back on track and snap that Cav win streak.

I'm a Bulls fans, but the Hawks are my adoptive team. I've watched about 8 of their games on LP this season. I think they are really good but people are still sleeping on them for some reason???

Got a little worried when Josh Smith hit the deck on that rebound, but he seems fine.

Tech on Josh for a foul on LBJ, hopefully that doesn't shift the momentum.

This reminded me of the Boston series in that the crowd was great from the opening tip and Bibby's son was on the bench again. The Hawks have played some great D so far. They are able to double Lebron w/o giving up open looks to their shooters. Big Z being out has really helped because Varajeao and Ben Wallace have had some embarrassing misses so far that Z would have scored on.

Woody is right about one thing. Everything this team does well starts with defense.

The Cavs made quite a few shots right at the end of the clock and still scored only 38.

The half court sets still have way too much dribbling but a good half overall. They were only 3-12 from 3 yet are still up 9.

Excellent job on defense keeping Bron to only 1 point during the second.

The Hawks have to play smarter. They have 6 turnovers in the 3rd while Cleveland has none.

The Hawks had them where they wanted them-up 14 in the 3rd. But 5 of their last 6 possessions where turnovers and the Cavs scored 7 of their last 8 possessions...and the 1 they missed was wide open 3. It's amazing how we can't hold a lead and how teams can't hold leads vs us. Flip has been pretty bad so far.

Please keep flip murray out of this game!! He is playing terrible. As good as Acie played in Cleveland, how can he not get any playing time tonight?

Josh Smith is absolutely atrocious. Horford needs to be your second option. He's a better shooter than Smith, and he's a better passer. It's really no contest at all.

If Josh Smith screws up, he gets pulled instantly but if Flip screws up, he's allowed to stay in the game and continue to screw up. I just dont get it. Acie should get some of those minutes.

If we lose it will be because the entire team self destructed at the end of the 3rd(similiar to the Dallas game)...but Smith has really had an awful 4th quarter. Hopefully he makes a play down the stretch to offset it.

The Hawks looked so bad in the third (7 turnovers) I thought they were gonna blow it.
Bibby clutch three followed by a Johnson fadeaway, and that block by Josh Smith was just embarrassing for Delonte West.

Nice win for the Hawks. If they can get Boston then it's gonna be a pretty successful homestand for them.
