It seems like we have done a good job of beating the teams we are supposed to beat this season. We need to follow up two big wins vs Miami and Cleveland, and beat a lesser Charlotte team. It would be nice going into the Boston game 15-9.

They usually slug it out with the bad teams but find a way to win.

We always seem to get into a game where we have to grind out a W against these guys. We need to jump out to an early lead and leave no doubt. They can't have much confidence right now, if we can start strong I think the 'Cats will fold and the starters can rest up for the big game on Wednesday.

I'd hate to have a fairly healthy team lose to the Cats on our home floor right after they traded one of their top players for Bo Diaw. Obviously anything can happen in the NBA but the Cats just don't have many good players on their squad and a loss to them at home right now would be bad to a greater magnitude than the Cleveland win was good.

Boris diaw is a damn good starter and a sub par sub. I know people are having fun bashing him and his heart, but the guy is a hell of a player.

Gerald Wallace and Josh Smith are easily the two best transition defenders in the NBA.

WTF do the Bobcats always decide to play out of their minds vs the Hawks any way? I thought this would end once they got rid of Bickerstaff but they've still been tough to beat even with 2 new coaches. I know we haven't won at their place in a long time(if at all)and they always play well in Atlanta even if they don't get the win.

Dagger fade away by Joe. The Hawks shut down the inside during the 2nd half(I believe they shot under 30 percent)but were ice cold for pretty much the entire game.

Marvin with only four field goal attempts?

Glad to see Josh Smith is back to blocking shots!

The Hawks were only 3-20 from 3 but still won. That is what good D can do. okafor was hating life tonight. That was one of the best games i have seen from Horford defensively. Smith was going for blocks more aggressively in the 2nd half.

JJ was the man in the end, as usual.

A win is a win. Diaw must be trying to sucker in Bobcats fans as he did Suns into thinking he can actually play. No excuse for him going off like that.

So you guys are honestly saying that playing backup minutes and being the starter is no difference?

Diaw is a proven good starter in the league. He is also proven to be a shakey back up. People keep saying he fooled phoenix, they went from running the offense through him and Nash to him being the 7th man on the team.

Diaw will continue to be a damn good player as long as he is a starter. Simple as that.

1 game doesn't prove that....especially considering hes shot over 20 times which isn't even what he did when he was on top of his game. Diaw lost his starting job in 2007 late in the season after struggling. He just hasn't been good since signing that contract.

Good win considering the bench was completely worthless and jumpers weren't falling. The crunch time D was really off the charts.

saying its only one game takes ALOT of ignoring the dozens of games he has played very well...almost all of which were as a starter.

His 12-5-5 as a starter last season are solid numbers.

He had a crappy 06-07 campaign, thats true, and was a 13-6-7 guy the year before as a starter. So basically to say the guy always has been a bum and always will be requires you to ignore two seasons of damn good play and focus only on the one bad one. That HAPPENED to be when the team changed their offense to move him to the backburner when Amare came back. The guy clearly is a very solid player. 10 mill a year is too much, but hey, if Phoenix was willing to pay.

To say he hasn't done anything since signing that contract ignores last season and his 15-5-5 numbers in the postseason. Just saying, thats a WHOLE lot of ignoring to pretend this is a one game thing.
