I'm going to the game!! Very excited to finally go this year, and it is a great matchup. Let's establish ourselves as the 4th best team in the East right now.

Nice to see the Hawks actually moving the ball around on offense. That led to some wide open 3s for Bibby. He has 20 already lol.

The Pistons hit their first 7 shots but didn't hit crap after that. good half overall.

17 point lead cut to 6. This is another game where it looked like we could be in a position to win rather easily that the other team now has a VERY realistic shot to win. We have also had 2 turnovers that led to 4 points while trying to hold the ball for the last shot of the quarter.

I know I say this after virtually every Hawks game, but Horford needs to move ahead of Smith as an option on offense. Smith just makes so many incredibly dumb plays on that end.

That 4th quarter was very poorly played for both teams and confusing for some reason. The Rip technical foul and ejection(when they were still in the game)AFTER getting hurt and the Pistons not fouling when down 5 with like 35 seconds left and a full shot clock left was confusing. Iverson getting benched was also confusing. It was like Detroit couldn't wait to get out of there. They must have had a pretty big blowup in the lockeroom at halftime or something.

The Hawks played a great 1st half which was good enough to win. 7 games above 500 with OKC coming up is a good spot to be.

I agree. Not sure what that was about.

The Hawks seemed confused about the confusion. :)

gotta love Woody. Once the Hawks got that big lead the ball movement stopped. They didn't push the ball on the break at all. Of course the Pistons got right back in the game. The Pistons don't want to run with the hawks so they should have been pushing the ball every chance they got.

The isolation plays at the end of the first at 3rd quarters had me screaming at the TV.

Other than Bibby and Horford the team shot poorly. Fortunately Bibby was hot enough that, combined with the Hawks D, we got the win. But i wish the Hawks would start playing like they actually have some sense.

I don't know WTF Detroit was thinking at the end of the game. i was sure they would foul JJ when we inbounded the ball up 5 with 35 seconds left.

Yes, please do. Let's be one of the boards that represent. I'm not trying to cry out here, but I have tried to build it, so I just need the Falcon fans to come.

I got to watch the game last night (good stream and I wasn't sleeping). I appreciate the Hawks advances, but I couldn't believe their Off the second half; especially the last five minutes. What's JJ's problem. His offensive strategy and exectution were so poor and disrespectful to his teammates. He recieved the ball, dribbled out the clock and iso'd one on five every posesion during the last five minutes. The result was usually a fall away jumper that missed. His teammates had to stand and watch as he tried to take the ball inside (1 on 5), they couldn't even crash the boards because they were clearing out for JJ.

JJ's defense was offf the charts though. he suffocated AI and sent him to the bench.

Hawks still need to learn to play as a team for 48 minutes.

Great win though.

There's nothing to complain about this team right now. We're far outplaying everyone's expectations for this year. We're 17-10! I love the way we're playing team defense and (usually) sharing the scoring load on offense. The youngsters are starting to grow up... It's a beautiful day to be a Hawks/Falcons fan.
