What to do with the upcoming contracts; Marvin, Bibby, Zaza, Solo, and JJ? They all expire before the end of next season. What do you think our options will be? First big decision is Marvin. Keep him? How much? Can we give JJ the near top $ he deserves? Bibby, Zaza and Solo are also an end of the season or sooner decisions. Does Speedy come off this off-season or do we have to carry him another year?

Horford and Acie will come up the year after JJ.

Who do we keep? Who do we trade?

I’m not trying to over look our present success. I might be interested in how to make the team better. I’m definitely interested in how the team is managed.

Some of these decisions could play out in the next two months.

Any proposals or solutions?

I would like to see Marvin re-signed, and I think it will happen due to we don't know what is going to happen with Chill next summer, and losing Marvin would hurt us at the SF position. I don't really think Marvin would be worth alot.

I would also like to see J.J. get a new contract this summer.

As for our PG position, if we resign Marvin, we will prob let Bibby walk. But if we let Bibby go, does that mean Law is our future PG? Has he shown us anything to prove he can be our PG? Should we look to the draft for a PG? Will Darren Collison fall to us? Or find some PG help in the F/A this summer that would be cheaper than Bibby? Who is the F/A PGs this year?

Alot of questions and movements that needs to take place this summer to really get a sense of how our team is actually going to look. This is just the beginning of the development of this team.

Why ?

Marvin's salary is already more than $5M this year, and he won't get more than $10M next year.
Even if he can get that salary, it means you can give $10M to Bibby with the same total than now.

And IMO, both should be re-signed for less than 10M, so less than what they get now.
There's no reason to let him walk as we won't get any player better than him in F.A.
