The Hawks are playing a back to back...but the game should be very winnable with Ford out. They are 6-8 at home and we are 6-8 on the road. I'm very worried about Danny Granger and Roy Hibbert is the kind of guy who can give the Hawks problems inside.

Pacers are playing without TJ Ford though but they have awesome rebounders in Jeff Foster and Troy Murphy.

Danny Granger blasted Atlanta with his 34 points in their first meeting. I just hope the Hawks learned their lesson and start playing real D.

We have missed close to ten wide open shots.

I don't know why, but we never can buy a call in Indy. Some atrocious non-calls (a couple against Marvin and JJ come to mind) thus far.

Yeah baby. Hawks went on a 10-0 run right before halftime. Held Pacers scoreless for 4 minutes.

Way to go Zaza!!!

The Hawks are winning but they are missing way too many open shots.

Coming off a back to back and a big win the Hawks seemed to be draggin but have gotten it going for spurts. I would like to see Marvin take it to the basket a little more.
Is it to much to ask for a team that plays hard and cares? Seems so.

The refs have been horrible. I was going to say that the refs were screwing the Hawks but the refs must have given us at least 8 free throws just from loose ball fouls on rebounds while they were in the bonus. The flow of the 3rd quarter was awful.

Games like these also show why Smith should never be standing around the 3 point line on offense.

That was a lot tougher than it should have been. Smith's 5 turnovers were a joke. So was the Hawks defense. They gave up so many layups it was ridiculous.

Props to JJ for scoring 12 in the last 5 minutes. 21-10 sure looks good even if some of the games didn't.

I'm proud of these players for pulling out this win tonight. They can now rest over the next two days and prepare for New Jersey. I hope we dominate New Jersey and force them to score a NBA low.

Reminder:

14 at NJ
Loss 108-115

15 vs NJ
Loss 107-119

That might have been the most poorly officiated game I've ever seen. All of the calls would go for one team for long stretches of time, and then all of a sudden the other team would get all of them. The whole crew was awful, but it's no coincidence that Violet Palmer was involved.

That was the 1st back and forth game the Hawks played since the Boston game....probably because neither team could get into a rhythm with all the bad calls. There wasn't a double digit advantage throughout the entire night. The Hawks didn't play their best basketball but road wins are great regardless.

What a big shot by Joe Johnson at 105-104. It seems like Indiana always crushes us at their place, so I am very, very satisfied that we prevailed tonight. The refs made the game hard to watch though, that was awful. Seemed like a whistle was blown on almost every possession. 6 wins in a row, but we have a tough 4 game stretch ahead. NJ, who beat us twice already, the Rockets who are always tough, and the Magic for two.

The two straight losses vs New Jersey came after a hearbreaking loss to the Boston Celtics. I'm hoping that the next game vs Nets is another story. Besides, this W vs Pacers means the Hawks are building confidence to win games on the road.

I would welcome a 40-50 point/20-assist performance from Devin Harris (fantasy owner, :p) with the Hawks winning behind Josh Smith's oh-so miracle 26-footer.
