According to ESPN Bosh has told Colangelo he won't resign. What would you be willing to offer for him. Here is the link to the interview. It is stated about half way through.

No, just no.
Smith+ maybe, but trading away two starters for 1 when we don't have any depth at that position is bad.

What's saying he will re-sign with us? Kinda of a big gamble there.

I've always said Bosh was the most likely 2010 free agent to sign with another team. Any thought of doing a trade now makes no sense unless they are willing to get rid of him for 50 cents on the dollar(like the Carter and Gasol trades). Now I might be willing to give up quite a bit for Bosh in the summer if he agreed to an extension before hand like Garnett did with Boston.

Trading for Chris Bosh not only means we lose quality by the trade, but it's most likely going to hurt us to resign some of our depth, and players that need to be part of this team during both the short and longterm.
What does it mean for Mike Bibby?
Marvin Williams after the current season if he's not involved with the trade?
Zaza Pachulia (Probably go to the Spurs during free agency)?
It'd eventually mean will have two max contract players with Joe Johnson and Chris Bosh. I like Chris Bosh, feel we should pursue him, but it depends on if he's going to be our 4 or 5. If it's the 5 will have more options between Al and Josh. If it's the 4 it probably means Josh goes unless we move Josh to the 3 (ha). So many things to look at and so much to decide on from one trade.
I doubt Josh Smith accepts a trade to Toronto!
The most I see us giving up would be Al Horford, Marvin Williams and Speedy Claxton. We receive Chris Bosh, Anthony Parker (expiring) and Jamario Moon (expiring). With Chris Bosh saying he doesn't plan on signing with Toronto, I would like to think it means his value is less on the market, but it's not, because it means other teams will be willing to start a bidding frenzy for him.

Josh Smith can't veto a trade to Toronto

KB, I thought Smith was able to veto it for the first year of his matched offer sheet.
In the FAQ, it says:
"In addition, teams cannot trade players under the following circumstances:
* ...
* For one year after exercising the right of first refusal to keep a restricted free agent (however, the player can consent to a trade to any team except the team that tried to sign him).
* ...
Link
My understanding is that he can veto it this year.

oh- you are absolutely right. I had completely forgotten that he had been matched

I'd trade for him in a second to match with JJ. That would be a killer combo. We could offer Bibby's expiring. And maybe Marvin's and/or Speedy's expiring contracts. If there's any way to end up with JJ, Bosh, and keep Horford - I'd do it. That's a nucleus that could contend in the East in a year or two. The nucleus we have right now is not ever going to contend.

Since Smith is BYC the deal would probably have to wait until summer anyway. If Bosh is willing to sign an extension this summer i would have no problem trading Smith for him. Bosh is a legit star.
The Raps are unlikely to get better offer than Smith since they could easily lose Bosh for nothing.

1. Are you serious ? How can Pachulia and his incredible defense along with his offensive game fit in a team that excels in everything he doesn't do or have ?
2. As far as I know, Kobe is the only player in the league with a veto clause in his contract. The thing is, Toronto would never trade with us if Smith is the centerpiece of that trade. They can get much better offers. Anyway, I don't think there's a chance Bosh would leave the Raptors for a team like us. The Hawks have been a losing franchise forever. Now, Toronto is such a nice place, I wonder why so many NBA players do not like to play there, is it the Canadian tax system that's bitting their paychecks big time ?

I'm very serious about ZaZa and many Spurs fans have been discussing it for a couple years now. Your completely undervaluing ZaZa and how true contenders view him. I see it being very difficult for us to bring him back if we sign both Mike Bibby and Marvin Williams. I'm hoping at some point this season Solo proves to us we he can be the backup to Al Horford.
As far as the veto goes try looking up the rules to why.

Wait, am I supposed to value your random internet opinion over someone else's random internet opinion?
