Seems like Joe's getting notice more!
He, along with CP3, Rip Hamilton and Carmelo Anthony are in the new Jordan 2009 campaign. Joe is prominently featured in this commercial. After Jordan released the 23's last year, Brand Jordan no longer will number the each shoe series. But they will have the year in which the shoes dropped. So, this year Jordan's will be the Jordan 2009's.

I guess that's s'posed to be JJ's sneakers breaking off his opponent at the ankle at the 0:51 mark (based on the Hawk logo on the floor and sideline, while the "Sixer" is grabbing his head in shame). Based on the preceding and subsequent shots, the ad leaves viewers thinking that was CP3.

My one complaint is that there's only that one shot with the Hawks jersey in full view and it's late in the commercial. If you don't know Joe's face and that is a real possibility given the few times they've been on national TV you may not even figure out who it is until then.
But it's a step in the right direction. Feels strange pushing for commercials, etc. but in order for Atlanta to stay on an upwardly path as a team it has to become apparent that you can get noticed and get off-court success in the ATL. Players need to believe that Atlanta isn't a one way ticket to obscurity (like it has been most of this decade).
