Feb. 18: Atlanta @ Sacramento

We just need to put last night behind us and get a win against an inferior opponent today. They don't have Salmons or Miller due to the recent trade so this should be an easy win. Of course nothing is easy with this team.

We're currently listed as 7 pt favorites with the o/u around 206-207 depending where you play. I think we cover and I'm sticking with the under until I see proof that we remember how to shoot.

The trade is making the line go up because it was 6 points earlier this morning. We must bounce back tonight and get things back on track.

Milwaukee drops Miami, Denver thumps Philly, and New Orleans is lighting up Orlando. Good night for us to bounce back.

Minnesota played some team basketball and beat Miami tonight. I watched some of the game and I like how Minny's players play together. Jermaine scored 13 points during his 27 minutes, but he didn't do much on defense.

Make that 4. I hope Sund is working the phones and that wasn't just lip service because we aren't as good as we looked at the start of the season.

Anyone know why Josh has only played 4 mins?

Wow!

Unbelieveable! Kevin Martin is abusing us single handedly. He keeps this up, he's well on his way to getting 40.....and 20-25 FT's.

We need a big. Something's gotta give! Sund needs to pull an all nighter tonight!

Speaking of bigs. Tyson Chandler failed his physical and he's on his way back to New Orleans.

Yep, that made me wonder how bad is his ankle for them to fail the physical. Because Speedy, Zaza, and Gardner would match up salary-wise for Tyson. Also made me wonder if any one of the OKC bigs might be had, but I can't see what we'd have to offer them as they already have plenty of picks and ending contracts.

The problem with Tyson is that he's signed for another two years and I don't see the ASG wanting to pay his salary of 12 million next season. He probably accepts his player option for the 10/11 season also.

What would it mean for Marvin Williams if we acquired Tyson? Josh Smith at the 3?

My comments were born of frustration from that collapse at the end of the first half. We can't afford to spend 11M per on a C to split time with Al and Josh (3 man rotation at the 4-5 at about 30 minutes each). We need a tall C, but that's just too much payroll (I expect we sign Johan Petro at 2.5M-3M per season this summer in hopes he can give us length at the backup C).

I actually don't think Tyson is worth 11M even if he's starting.

A lane violation on the 1st free throw? How dumb could this team be?

They made that alot harder than it had to be. The free throws were pretty pathetic but they still got the win on the road.
