The Kings have agreed on a trade to send forward Shelden Williams and point guard Bobby Brown to Minnesota in exchange for fourth-year guard Rashad McCants and veteran big man Calvin Booth, according to two league sources.

I like this for the Kings even if Rashad McCants is looking to get paid this off-season.

I agree. I think there are minutes for McCants in Sacramento while Shelden moving on frees up minutes for Mikki Moore (which may make him more happy). Minnesota can test drive Shelden and realize first hand how much smarter they were to draft Craig Smith in the 2nd round that year than the GM who drafted Shelden at 5.

I've always been a McCants fan. I felt he was the best of all of those UNC guys that year (turns out none of them ended up being too good). But I've seen him get hot for Minnesota and he is a dangerous offensive player, it just wasn't a good fit for him.

Nah, Felton is the best IMO. McCants is not going to be able to hold down the SG position for very long. The question is can McCants and May make it through a full NBA season?
