Cleveland @ Atlanta @ 8 PM

Post#1 » by HMFFL » Sun Mar 1, 2009 6:14 am

Cleveland favored to win by 4 points. O/U 189.5.

If we want any respect we win this game at home. Theres going to be a full house to see Lebron, so all the more reason to win, and prove we are a team to take serious.

Maybe Joe can have the last laugh this time.

Joe needs to step up and prove that hes a deserving all star on national TV. I think were gonna come up way short in this game and prob get our doors blown off in the first half but I hope to god we dont. Hoping for the best. Good luck Hawks! SHOW ME SOMETHING JOSH! Distribute the ball better Hawks!
Is it to much to ask for a team that plays hard and cares? Seems so.

Ilgaulskas is usually a big problem for us... D. West is another guy I like, he's underrated. Bibby needs to give us some productive minutes. Please, get Horford involved on the offensive end and limit Smith's shots to 8, then we can only win. You got to clog the paint the way we did agaisnt Wade and the Heat, this way king James won't go for 40+.
GO HAWKS.

Its good that Ben Wallace is out but they still got Ilgauskas that has that sexy baby hook(LOL) and his midrange game is nastyyyyyy. ^^^We played good defense against Wade but he had an off game, so we got lucky in that aspect. Lebron will get his we just dontt want him to get a triple double, cuz we know there gonna win when they get that. We cant let D West get cooking from beyond the arc, amd Bibby, Flip and maybe Acie, need to play good defense on Mo WIlliams!

:o That's free money, folks! I'm putting my house mortgage on Cleveland to cover tonight. The over/under is too close to call.

I wonder if the weather will limit the amount of fans in attendance?

Wow. Flat crowd. Not much energy on defense. I can't understand why?

Beyond that, we're playing ok, they're just knocking down shots and we're not.

Skyhawk - don't even bother to make a comment after this game. Josh Smith is the best player on the floor right now. He's bringing the thunder!

Good to see the Hawks pick up the intensity on D this quarter. I hope the crowd gets into this thing and gives us a lift.

The Cavs have 10 second chance points already even though they are shooting 50%.

It is hard to step up when you get benched with 2 fouls. Ditto marvin. Woody's two foul rule gets on my last nerve. Marvin played only 13 minutes that half.

bibby and Flip are 3-11. They need to heat up for the Hawks to have any chance.

Yep, especially since the Cavs perimeter D is their weakest link.

JJ had a couple of bad turnovers but i would rather him be 2-4 than 3-10. He has been going one on one too much for weeks. Of course Woody has something to do with that.

Why is Marvin so scared of dribbling the ball on the fast break? We are missing easy shots inside as well.

This is pathetic. HOW CAN YOU POSSIBLY BE FLAT FOR A GAME LIKE THIS?!?! What's wrong with these guys? What's wrong with this crowd?

The crowd is pro-LeBron.

For the Hawks:
