Brutal remaining schedule. I think well get exactly 50 wins! What do y'all think?

Mavs @ Hawks thread coming soon. Big game
Is it to much to ask for a team that plays hard and cares? Seems so.

The next 9 are pretty bad. But once they get past that, they ahve

@Toronto
@ Bucks
Pacers
Heat
Griz

I dont think they get 50. Winning 10 of the last 14 with thier schedule is a pretty tall task.

i hope so. With the Momentum they would have going into the playoffs winning 10 of 14 and hopefully getting a productive Marvin Williams back, they could make some serious noise.

I don't think they will get to 50.

They have 8 home games left. 6 of those are against playoff teams. To be safe I'm going to say they should lose to LA(awful matchup)and that they should beat Miami(although this game could be meaningless). Let's say they split the 4 games against Dallas/SA/Boston/Orlando and then beat Indiana and Minny. That would give us 5 home wins.

I think the Hawks track record has shown that they will likely lose to Boston and Cleveland on the road. Philly is also a tough road game for this team but they could possibly win that game...and the game at Milwaukee as well. I just wouldn't put any money on the Hawks beating a team that's over 500 at home. Toronto and Memphis have thrown in the towel on the season and have worse home records than our home records...so I would project the Hawks to win both of those games although it's likely the Memphis game will be meaningless at the time it's played.

I see 5-3 at home and 2-4 on the road to finish the season at 47 wins...although it's not crazy to think that they could go 7-1 at home or beat Philly and/or Milwaukee. It really doesn't matter to me as long as we get home court.

The way I look at it, the Hawks have 3 very winnable away games in TOR, MIL, & MEM and a tough but possible win at PHI. It will almost be more important for them to come down the stretch winning away is it is finishing well at home. I'm hoping they can take 6 of their 8 remaining home games and 4 of 6 away. I figure they could take one from any of SA, BOS, or LAL and take ORL at home. Wins against DAL, MIN, IND, and MIA at home will make this a very attainable goal.

Some folks will say that's crazy, but look at some of our recent wins. Start with a very close game against CLE to start of March, then beating DET, NO, Utah, IND, & POR who are all very good teams. If we take DAL, we go into CLE with a chance to revenge our previous loss and cement our confidence going into the playoffs. I just feel we could be seeing our Hawks finally being the hot team going into the playoffs, which could to a nice showing.

Sitting at 40 :
Probable wins:
Minnesota
Boston (depends on their health)
@Toronto
@Milwaukee
Indiana
Miami

hard calls:
Dallas
San Antonio
@Philadelphia
@Boston (depends on health)
Orlando (night after Boston)
@Memphis (if it doesn't matter)

Probable losses:
@Cleveland
LA Lakers

Figure we take 2 of the 6 hard calls for a 48 win total. Which is pretty good.

i wanted to start this thread right after the Mavs game

if you are a Hawks fan, after the Dallas win, you have to have a good feeling for the rest of the season.

if the Hawks sit on 49 wins at Memphis, i hope Joe, Bibby, Josh, and Horford only play 20 min each, and i hope Acie, Mario, Solomon, and Randolph carry this team to it's first 50 win season after over a decade of sub .500 seasons.
