No Timmy Wednesday?

Jeff McDonald of the San Antonio Express-News is still very concerned about the health of Tim Duncan's knees, but doesn't believe they will shut him down before the end of the season.
"We're still worried about Tim Duncan," he wrote. "Those who know him say just the fact that he's talking about his sore knees proves just how uncomfortable he is." McDonald expects Duncan to sit out either Tuesday vs. GSW or Wednesday @ Atlanta, which would not be surprising after coach Gregg Popovich said he would sit Duncan in one game in each of the team's two remaining back-to-back sets.

I would almost have them have Duncan so we could really see how good we are, but if he doesnt play im not gonna complain, cuz id like to get this 4th seed as soon as possible, and maybe 50 wins.

I hope he plays. We need to start getting in playoff intensity mode.

Agreed. I hope TD plays, too. I want to see how we stack up at home against three good teams who have plenty to play for.

Pop playing Duncan vs the Warriors at home and sitting him out in a tougher game would make no sense so I imagine Duncan will play. I think I would prefer him to play as well because I don't want the Hawks to take the Spurs lightly.

It's possible that Manu Ginobili may return against us Wednesday. I would like to see a strong Spurs team on the court.

Golden State could have beaten San Antonio. Their last 2 positions were lame. San Antonio needed all Timmy could give them to win by 1 at home.
