When Marvin returns...

Post#1 » by dpaulh » Tue Mar 24, 2009 1:06 am

Should we have him come off the bench? That would give us a huge boost being able to have him and Flip on the floor as our scorers to start the second and fourth quarters....
Our starters seem to have pretty good chemsitry with Evans anyway and he does a very good job guarding scorers for the other team. Thinking about the playoffs, that would allow for Evans to be on Wade so that Joe doesn't have to work nearly as hard on the defensive end, which will keep him fresh on the offensive side.

Or Iguodala or Rip depending on how the rest of the season goes

marvin is the best perimiter defender on the team. id like him being the poor smuck that was stuck D'ing up pierce or james rather then Mo.

Marvin would be unstoppable against Miami's second team especially given that they would have to worry about Flip, too. Those two would be a deadly duo given that they can both shoot and finish at the rim

Really depends how healthy he is and how rusty he is. At this point, any minutes he can give will be a blessing.
