4/3 Hawks @ Celtics

Post#1 » by ATL DirtyBird » Fri Apr 3, 2009 3:37 am

Well its the Hawks last chance to prove anything, thought it wont mean much bc of KG being shutdown for a while. I expect another blowout. Philly is in the 5th seed which scares me to death. If Joe doesnt assert is big ass tomorrow night I will personally backhand him, and if Al doesnt show signs of life I will also be forced to backhand him. Hopefully that fat ass Big Baby doesnt deystoy us again. I hope the Hawks are awake, but I say that all the time and nothing changes.
Heat @ Bobcats
While the Sixers are off.

GO HAWKS!!!! I STILL HATE THE CELTICS!!! :D :D :D :D

Lots of variations on the line, but the most common is Boston by 5 with o/u of 186. Think it will be tighter than that, but I wouldn't bet against Paul Pierce and Ray Allen dropping the Hawks with the game on the line. Given how bad we shot on Wednesday night I'll go with the under.

I doubt that they will even bring the intensity that the Bobcats brought the other night. :(

Correct. The line has been jumping around since last night. It started out at 6 and I have even seen it at 4. Will see what happens. I like the over.

Good first quarter. Gotta be happy about only 2 turnovers. Sadly Joe is still slumping, hes 1-4 in the opening quarter. I hope Mo stops jacking everytime he sees daylight, even though hes a deadeye shooter.

Solid performance so far, I like the defensive effort. How many wide open three's are we planning to miss?

Joe is the absolute king at missing WIDE OPEN 3s. Its annoying. He needs to get going to the basket, and work inside out. If we dont make 3s, we lose games.
We cant make long shots WIDE OPEN either.
I hate Glen Davis!!!

Bibby just keeps shooting. I respect the mans confidnence, but he needs to share a little bit. LOL.

Wow. What a BS call for Pierce there. Mo didn't even touch him.

I thought my o/u pick looked good because the pace was so slow, but a flurry of points the last couple of minutes has kicked things up a bit.

Silly foul by Mo Evans at the end of the half. Every time we play the Celtics I am envious of how they have young 2nd round bigs who make positive contributions based on effort alone while we have Solomon Jones and Randolph Morris who look lost every time they hit the floor.

Maybe Josh can get some shots at the basketb in the paint, and stop hoisting up jumpshots. I think he still thinks hes hot from that 12-14 game or whatver. Ur not hot anymore Josh, stop shooting. Hopefully Bibby will stop chunkin up 18 ft jays like he doesnt care.

GO HAWKS..
look at the shooting %, SHOCKING!

The floodgates are open. The crowd is rocking and this game will be over if we dont answer NOW. Hopefully Woodson is saying something encouraging. Lets see how this team responds.
Though that dunk was lame, Josh sure does slam hard.

Those 3 free throws are a killer. Smart play by Rondo. Sucks for us.

The Hawks are shooting 35% and its gonna come off as "oh the Celtics played amazing defense." How many times will the Hawks settle with shooting jumpers, and be content with that?? The only player going to the basket is Smith, and he is kinda efficent right now.
