Hawks Define Failure

That's the title of this HoopsWorld article because evidently Josh Smith said that if the Hawks lose in round 1 the season would be a failure. I missed that statement, but I don't doubt he said it. The article points out that Marvin Williams didn't necessarily agree in a 680 interview (it links to his interview as well).
Disappointment, sure. Failure? To me the word failure has a much stronger connotation than just not achieving one's goals, but in the strict sense would be accurate. It's probably the wrong time to ask the question after the loss at Philips last night, but do you fall with Josh or Marvin on this subject? Do the Hawks have to win this series for the season to not be a failure?
