Not trying to make this a big deal, but Andre skilling the meeting surprises me. He's not on the top of my free agency list, but someone I feel we need to consider if Bibby walks.

Andre Miller and Theo Ratliff both skipped the 76ers final team meeting without offering any excuses to team president Ed Stefanski.
Both players are unrestricted free agents this summer, and this could be an early indication that they're not planning to re-sign with Philadelphia. In particular, Ratliff criticized the coaching staff following Philly's Game 6 loss to the Magic and it would be surprising if he returns next season.

If we are going to replace Bibby with a guy who can't hit the 3...then I'd rather it be someone young like Ford or Felton.

That is a pretty strange move. Not only are you dissing a GM that could resign you but you are also dissing a GM that holds your rights and could give you a SNT deal to go somewhere else.

Miller has been acting strangely since he was traded to Philly, though.

I'm not sold on Miller, but I can see him being on Sund's list if Bibby's out of the picture.

Andre is better in the midrange game and has the advantage of greater defense over Bibby but the part that interests me best bout him is that he can throw the oop like no other

Right when Philly makes the playoffs and the team starts to move towards the right direction.

Sammy D's basketball IQ rivals Josh Smith's. Plus, what he wants is to be more of a focus on offense.

IOW, the Hawks already have a better, smaller Sammy D.

Something smells rotten about the Philly situation.

Dalembert has some question marks in his past about attitude and effort (did he quit or get kicked off the Canada Olympic Qualifier team?). He's a shot blocking and rebounding force but he's under contract to be a lot more. He'd probably be wonderful in a system like New Orleans with a PG like Chris Paul or in Phoenix with Nash because he could just finish at the hoop and probably easily double his ppg. He has the one thing that Chandler and Amare have been in short supply of, health. Sammy hasn't missed a game in over 3 seasons. Without a PG of that caliber and style of game plan I think he loses too much interest and doesn't earn his sizable pay.

But isn't he the kind of center you'd like to pair with Horford?

I don't think miller is high on Sund's list, because he can't shoot the three. I seem to recall hearing that he told marvin he could either extend his range out to the 3pt line or not play (or something to that effect).

the person that we could look at would be Ratliff. anything to shore up our big rotation would be a plus. it's not like we need somebody to play 20 MPG.
