Hey guys, I didn't see a trades thread here, so if I missed it can ya'll please move it.
Anyway, I was wondering if ya'll expected to get Mike Bibby back next year and if not, if ya'll would be interested in Ford?
If so, what would you give for him?

I'd give up the 19th pick and Speedy for him.
Speedy/19/Morris for Ford works or Speedy/19/Law for Ford and a second rounder.

That would be interesting, I might do it, not sure about other Pacer fans, or Bird/Morway though. Depends on who is there at 19 for me, which in this draft isn't much.

I'm personally not sold on TJ Ford. Not totally shooting down the idea, just saying I would explore several other avenues first.

A healthy Ford could be huge for us.
If Smoove is ever to become great for us, it'll take a pure PG feeding him.

I don't think Smith will become great with Woodson around. They need someone to get into his head about playing smart basketball.

Ford's frail frame and penetrating style already make him injury prone but what scares me the worst is that spinal issue. I've got stenosis myself which prevented me from continuing football. Granted that's an entirely different sport but I'm afraid already of getting a stinger just by being in a fender bender yet alone crashing into 7foot 250 pounders or Dominicans named Al...

Why not? Horford didn't make a dirty play, just a hard one. Besides, Horford sat up with Ford in the hospital.
I don't understand why folks keep treating this like a federal offense. If Ford weren't so frail (good word choice, MaceCase) the foul wouldn't have been memorable.

Yea I just wanted to incite a little humor but considering the team's cap issues and that we would have to give up depth to get him I just don't want any falters now that we've been making steady progress.

I would do it in a heart beat. TJ is more of a playmaker than Bibby. He can break down a defense and get our shooters open looks. Also, he is only 25 (i believe) so he can grow with the team.
I'm a big suporter of Bibby, though. Without him we don't make the playoffs last year, and we don't improve as much as we did this year. Barring a move like this one, I think we have to resign him.
