J. Jack is going to be here next year. I don't Know why but, It's just such a good fit and hes would not break the bank. And he'll be that leader we need.

The Jarrett Jack situation makes me nervous. He had a very nice close to the season last year, but other than that he has never been anything more than a solid backup. I don't feel comfortable handing a guy like that the reigns.

Eh, he wouldn't be so bad, kinda like a younger Anthony Johnson. PGs take a little more time to grow up and Jack seems to be doing just that.

I think he'd be hard to get and I think he just might be expensive.

Yes, but what we need is leardership from the pg poistion. A guy who can play good permiter defence, pass first - but can also take the ball to the rim. And for some reason I think he has chancy billup type qualties

I agree. That's why I think he's going to be more expensive than we might hope.

He is a restricted free agent and the Hawks only have the MLE so if they want him it would probably have to be a sign and trade. I guess it all comes down to what you would be willing to give up to get him. Speedy and 19th pick? Ive been weighing TJ ford trades around that base but came to the conclusion that there were better options in FA. But if you think that Jack is the answer then a S&T could be a possibility.

Must take caution when pursuing Jarrett Jack. The Indiana offense averaged 105 points per game and many of the players play little defense. I'm not saying Jarrett's part of the non-defensive players, but he's going to produce quality numbers with the type of style the Pacers play.

Jarrett has made between 60-80 three points during the last three season, so while those numbers are consistent, I would like to see him make 100+ next season, so now is the time for him to take his game to even greater heights. He is also prone to turning the ball over. To put his turnovers into perspective, the minutes he played are similar to what Mike Bibby played, and Jarrett turned the ball over 56 more times.

Good call HMFFL. I agree that Jack is a great seond PG. A weak first. Not enough of a distributor or shooter. Pretty good D, but that's not enough.

Miller blows him away and should be about the same cost.

I really hope its true I've been a fan of Jack since his GT days.

Jack > Ford.

Jack is not really a starting point guard though. You may be able to get away with playing him there next to a guy like Joe...but he is your 3rd guard off the bench in an ideal situation.
