ASG Summer

Keep the cheapest, sorriest, coach in the NBA.

Cut payroll more (besides all the already cap players not being paid).

Field the cheapest team possible while waiting for the maturation of the team and the exciting new #19 and #47 draft pick.

I agree that the ASG are one of the worst ownership groups in the league. What I find absolutely fascinating is that YOU are the one saying that the team should not exceed the cap this season.
"Renonce or trade any or all of the non-contributing players and we can make meg-moves."

If they do this they they would only be able to go up to the cap in player acquisition- they wouldn't be able to exceed it using bird rights, the MLE, or even BAE. If you want the Hawks to spend money then you should be saying that the Hawks should not renounce any of their players because they have bird rights and can exceed the cap to sign them (even if its part of a S&T). If the ASG is going to spend big money on this team then it won't be because they renounced guys- its because they didn't renounce guys and used those contracts to acquire salary
