Bosh and Harris + T. Evans in draft?

Post#1 » by FCNATL85 » Fri May 29, 2009 2:27 am

I have heard Session's name a lot but I would prefer Devin Harris to him and will try to use him in a 3 way with MIL-ATL-NJ that would land Harris.
I would still like to try to use some of our assets, including pick if needed, to get a few quality vet players. Here is a scenario:
move Smoove, Bibby (S&T, it is now or never), Acie, Speedy, chil (S&T), anderson (S&t)

Smoove + Chil for Bosh
Bibby + Acie to MIL for Session to NJ with Anderson, 19 and future pick below for Harris and filler and 11.
Speedy + morris for future pick (NO?*)
sign Mc Dyess or Theo

resign Marv, Zaza, Flip, Solo, Hunter and Mario

Harris - Flip- Beaubois? (49)
JJ- T.Evans (11)- Mario
Marv- M. Evans
Bosh- Mc Dyess- Hunter
Horford- Zaza- Solo

You have your trio of stars in Harris-Bosh-JJ and a solid bench. You give up future picks if needed.

I seriously doubt Toronto would trade Bosh for Smith and Chill. Just not enough talent coming back to them.

If Milwaukee is concerned about the luxury tax, how is adding Bibby help them? Especially since the contract Bibby will want should be higher than the one Sessions will get. And I doubt Bibby will agree to go to Milwaukee anyway.

Anderson, a future pick, and 19 does not net your Harris, let alone 11 as well. If we want Harris, we are giving up one of our top guys and even then it is iffy. 11 would be nice, but I doubt Evans falls to 11. Ford has him going at 9 and Draft Express has him going 6.

Devin Harris is a future All-Star and has a friendly contract. I see no reason for NJ to move him and at this point and I doubt they'd even do it for Chris Bosh. Call me what you want, but they know the 1 is going to be held down for years, and now they can focus on improving the other 5 positions (2,3,4,5 and the bench).

actually Devin Harris already IS an all-star. He made the all star team this season.
