Marvin for Raja

SnT Marvin Williams for Raja Bell and DeSagana Diop

Joe needs a teammate that can defend and hit 3s more than someone who can create for himself, because Woody wants Joe to dominate he ball on every possession. Raja is a good 3pt shooter, and really good defender and could be more useful in the playoffs.

DeSagana Diop is horrible and paying him 6-7 million over the next four season would be a nightmare. I tried telling this board a couple years ago how awful he is and how big of a mistake it would be to sign him. Dallas learned quick after signing him to an outrageous contract and now they have to deal with Matt Carroll for four seasons.

Why give up on Marvin? I don't even think it makes sense to move him for Raja Bell who is expiring after next season. We get nothing to grow on and you have Joe Johnson at the 3. Your proposal makes us smaller at the 2 and 3. I also highly doubt Joe would be willing to get inside and bang like Marvin does.

He didn't really show it this year, but he's been a pretty good defender in the past.

Wow. Raja Bell and DeSagana Diop for Marvelous.
My mother told me, she said, "Elwood, to make it in this world you either have to be oh, so clever or oh, so pleasant." Well, for years I was clever; I recommend pleasant.

I think he is more than adequate.

HMFFL was right on about Diop. I wanted us to sign him last summer but he has turned out to be complete garbage.

this is worse than the tyson chandler for Josh smith trade idea.

i dont see how trading off a young talented offensive player for an old man who needs a cane to get down the court improves the hawks in anyway.
