Portland won't trade Aldridge for #2, they value him that highly.

Sorry, but I have to LOL @ this one. Generally in trades, we give up something or take a downgrade to get something or take an upgrade somewhere else. In this deal, Aldridge > Horford and Bayless > Law, and I'm someone who thinks that all POR prospects and players are completely overrated...

Not so sure about LA being better than Horf. LA is on a talented, balanced and well coached team that actually exploits their players pluses.

Horf is on a talented, unbalanced, very poorly coached team that has no offense.

Horf is much tougher and a much better rebouder. I think the only thing LA does better is score. Horf will get better at that and nearly everything else.

When you are listing what teams are trading and recieving, you left out that Portland is giving up Bayless and Outlaw. Both are not throwaways. A team that won the second most games in the West does not end up younger at PG along with Frye as it's starting PF.

Also for Atlanta I do not like this. LA is not an enforcer type and would be playing out of position at C. Horford is going to be a better option long term in battling Howard.
