No clock here!

When the Hawks board makes their call I move on to the next team board. I'll wait until it seems a clear frontrunner has been determined. If that cannot be accomplished a reasonable selection will be made for you :wizard:

1. Clippers - Blake Griffin PF, 20, Oklahoma City, OK
2. Grizzlies - Ricky Rubio PG, 18, Barcelona, Spain
3. Thunder - Hasheem Thabeet C, 22, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
4. Kings - James Harden SG, 19, Los Angeles, CA
5. Wizards - Tyreke Evans G, 19, Chester, PA
6. Wolves - Demar DeRozan G/F, 19, Compton, CA
7. Warriors - Jrue Holiday G, 19, Chatsworth, CA
8. Knicks - Jordan Hill PF, 21, Atlanta, GA
9. Raptors - Brandon Jennings PG, 19, Los Angeles, CA
10. Bucks - DeJuan Blair PF, 20, Pittsburgh, PA
11. Nets - James Johnson PF, 22, Cheyenne, WY
12. Bobcats - Terrence Williams SG, 21, Seattle, WA
13. Pacers - Stephen Curry G, 21, Charlotte, NC
14. Suns - Earl Clark F, 21, Plainfield, NJ

END LOTTERY (pretty decent bet that these are the 14 players actually taken if you ask me)

15. Pistons - Austin Daye F, 21, Irvine, CA
16. Bulls - Jonny Flynn PG, 20, Niagara Falls, NY
17. Sixers - Ty Lawson PG, 21, Clinton, MD
18. Wolves - Gerald Henderson SG, 21, Caldwell, NJ

And with the #19 pick Atlanta takes...?

(Support/ridicule of choices encouraged)

I hope the Hawks move up and take Thabeet. but if it goes like this I want Eric Maynor

I'd think that Mullens, Maynor, Teague would be the highest rated prospects left in this scenario.

Personally, I'd go with Mullens; I'm not high on any of them so take a chance on the big. I couldn't ridicule any of those selections though, it's really more of a personal preference...

I also would pik B.J. Mullens. He's so athletic and has great mobility for a 7ft guy. It's obvious he's not ready. He's way too raw offensivelly and should bulk up a bit before he can even back up in the NBA. E. Maynor is intriguing though. I wouldn't mind if we picked him, he's got a bright future in the league. Since I can't stand college basketball, I don't know anyone else but the top 3 picks lol.

I like Maynor. More of a true pg than Teague.

Maynor, Teague, or Mullens???

I'd go with Toney Douglas.

I think that the Hawks would go with Mullens. I'd personally go with Teague though I think its likely he will pull out of the draft. I don't really like Maynor in the pros. I don't think he is going to be enough of a 3 point threat in the pros to really set him up to drive.

Take Maynor please, unless we are able to sign Sessions, in that case bet all and take Mullens

The draft happens before FA starts so there is no way to sign sessions before you make the pick

alright guys. maynor has taken a 3-2-2 edge in this main thread and additionally has the edge in the big draft thread here that has been ongoing for some time. since maynor seems like a logical choice i'll go ahead and fill him in for you guys before things get too muddy

good luck with the real thing

Maynor impressed me every time i saw him in college...but his combine numbers scare the **** out of me. It's almost a lock that he won't present any mismatch problems whatsoever from a physical standpoint. He isn't the type of guy who is going to beat his defender consistently off the dribble and there's no way he's going to be able to be a good post up guard at only 165 pounds. Just about all of the quality point guards in the NBA do atleast one of those two things well(Calderon may be the only one who doesn't but he's extremely skilled). I would say Maynor projects as a Duhon/Steve Blake type NBA player.

Why are we all so addicted to Mullens? The Hawks cant develop a big man for ****. He would take way to long to become a solid contributor. We need to get a veteran big man, get rid of Acie and draft a PG.
