The Spurs have offered Yiannis a contract, but I expect Olympiakos to counter, so the talks are far from being over. I see this as an example of what it would realistically cost for us to sign David Andersen.
David seem to think he is worthy a Goldy amount of money 5-6 million per season, so if Yiannis signs this contract it could very well be a wake-up call for David, and for our Hawks who just low balled David during the past.
According to reports out of Greece, the Spurs have offered Bouroussis a 3 year contract worth between 10.5 and 12 million. We’ve not received confirmation from anyone within the Spurs organization, so proceed with caution.LinkDraftExpress Profile

$3M-$4M/per year was the cost for Scola and Gasol, too.

andersen would be a decent backup plan for zaza (would be even better if we had them both)
hopefully he wont cost too much.
the spurs strike again i suppose. tim duncan isn't a good center but he's a hall of famer Power Forward. i think he could win the starting job for the spurs.

What do you guys see as Andersen's trade value? What would it take to pry him away at this point? Would a late first do it?

That would depend on who's available at the time. I think it is fine value, but unsure if management wants to tie up the money in a guaranteed contract unless there is a player they really want. A high second might be more attractive because it wouldn't come with a guarantee.

Yiannis Bouroussis used the Spurs and will stay with Olympiakos.

I'd easily take a late first rounder for the rights to Andersen. THat could be seen as giving up Andersen's rights for the rights to Calathes- thats an EASY call for me.
