Guys, I'm just dreaming but if the GS trade goes down he would be a good pg to develop

I don't see Jennings dropping down that far. This Crawford trade probably nixes any shot at looking at Wayne Ellington, or Toney Douglas.

I'm thinking Ty Lawson, and at that time, there will have been 4 or 5 PGs drafted.

Should Bibby not be able to come back in our backcourt, it would be up to Lawson to deal with Nelson, Williams, Felton, Augustine, Chalmers & Arenas in our division. I think Lawson would be a quick study and get enough support from Flip and Crawford to get the experience he needs for a playoff run.

Is Lawson able to compete with Paul? I think so, and if he falls to 19, I would be satisfied so far with the offseason.

I really doubt Jennings slips that much on potential alone

If Bibby doesn't get resigned, I think Lawson is the best option to come in and contribute right away which is what this team needs. Not someone a few years away

That's not a very scary list of PGs to deal with. Who's Williams? I am drawing a blank on him. I agree that Lawson should be able hang with them by the end of the season. Actually, Teague, Maynor, or Mills might be able to as well.

Teague is the worst pick we could possibly make, especially with a scorer in Crawford now aboard. Teague averaged as many turnovers as assists (3.5 vs. 3.4) and has no prayer of developing into a pure point guard like we still need. Best case scenario, in my opinion, is he becomes the next Flip Murray.

I think Jennings has high bust potential(even more so than Teaue)...but it's almost impossible to watch his highlights and not be intrigued by his upside. He just has amazing side to side quickness(something extremely underrated imo) and ball handling that you just can't teach. My reason's for liking him are pretty lame(youtube vids,his number 1 HS ranking,and Givony's eye witness report of how amazing he looked in team scrimmages)but my gut feeling is that he's doing to be a stud. If I were confident about my coaching staffs ability to develop talent and my team was decent enough where I didn't need him to play big minutes right out the gate(wouldn't take him top 10)-then I would just salivate at the thought of this guy in the more free flowing/spacious NBA.

Evil, I threw Mo Williams in there and not thinking he is not in the division. But it still doesn't scare me to present a young PG to combat against that list. Even Alston can compete with that list.
