Offical Antonio McDyess to Atlanta Thread

It worked before, might work again.... who knows?
anyway, I think signing McDyess is more important and will have more impact than signing Zaza and Bibby. what ever the Hawks are thinking about spending on Bibby would be better spend on getting McDyess.
If you watched the Pistons the last two years, you would see that McDyess was the guy who guarded the other team's best post player, and he was the guy who would be matched up against Dwight in every meeting they had with Orlando........ and Dyess did a very good job on Dwight. Dwight would still be able to grab his 15rebs, but McDyess would be able to hold his own and grab 13-14rebs a game and usually getting a double double.
Antonio is also a vet with playoff experience and would also help the Hawks and Joe in the locker room
he is just what the Hawks need a vet role player who doesn't care about shots, and just gets rebounds and plays defense, and would really help out as a backup PF and C, and it would be worth it if Hawks overpaid him if they had to.
