Ben Wallace?

so he was just bought out by the suns...
We need big bodies and at very least I'd figure he'd provide 15 solid minutes, I wouldn't be upset if we scooped him up for cheap...
thoughts?

I don't think Big Ben wants to play anymore. so I say no. But Tim Thomas just got bought out by the Bulls. I wouldn't mind getting him. But Wilcox or Gooden would be my first choice.

He said he wanted to retire, so not sure if he want to play again, we would not need 15 minutes of Wallace playing without hearth, like he started in CHI.

I would rather go after Chris Wilcox, Drew Gooden or even Ike Diogu.

Wallace is absolutely crap since he left Detroit. In his case, when he is leaning on his athleticism, and pure power, the years are killing him fast. Shelden Williams could help this team more, than Wallace would.

If he was willing to sign at the vet minimum I might take a look at the guy. If he is fit, he's still a big body that can bang in the paint. I wouldn't want to give him more than a one-year deal though, so I think we should weigh other options first.

Wallace is done and has nothing left to give imo. There is a reason he left 4 million on the table vis a vis the buyout.

He didn't leave that much on the table to sign for the minimum elsewhere. The man is done.
