Some worthwhile names on there.

Everyone has talked about taking a look at Siler and it looks like the Hawks are going to do the same thing. Dionte Christmas was a great scorer at Temple, I've seen a lot of fans from many teams talk about bringing him in as a training camp invitee. I completely forgot about Akyol, as he didn't develop as we wanted.

I thought Taft had an injury that ended his career a few years ago?

Leo Lyons has some potential. Korolev? Was he the guy that the Clippers spent a lottery pick on a few years ago?

I'm pulling for Siler. A big with desire to play down low seems to be rare these days. And he shares the last name of the bad guy on Heroes.

I think Siler and Christmas could really help us. Bruising big man and a knockdown shooter? Yes plz.

Personally I like Lyons and Christmas and wouldn't mind John lucas III as a 3rd PG (I see Crawford as a SG who might get some PG minutes). However, you have to remember that these aren't the guys coming to training camp, it is still minicamp. Most (if not all) of these guys have played on some other summer league team (two in Christmas' case) and the best of them will probably be weighing multiple training camp invites.
Like i said though, of these guys I'd take Lyons Christmas and Lucas... maybe Siler too... so for our roster (assuming we fail to sign anyone else).
Bibby/Teague/Lucas
Johnson/Crawford/Christmas
Marvin/Mo/
Smith/Lyons/
Horford/Zaza/Randolph/Siler?
That would put us at 14, but I seem to remember somewhere that we'd just have 13, so I would guess that Siler would have to beat out Randolph... assuming all of these guys come to OUR training camp

I still expect Mario West and Othello Hunter to make the squad. A minicamp invite gets you a look, but don't discount the guys who've been practicing in the system for some time. Randolph Morris's contract is guaranteed this year which is hard to overcome, but that 14th roster spot is really about future development and big guys take time. That's how I see Siler as a potential investment in a future backup big.

i'm rooting for Chris Taft..... really hope this guy can make a come back. he likes to rebound and loves to play defense and has enough skill not to be an offensive liablity

i'm not really high on Siler. i'm rooting for him because he is a home town guy, but just like Morris, both guys look slow in college (and speed is king in the NBA) and his rebounding numbers are very low for a 7 footer in college.

From what I've heard, one of the biggest differences in Morris and Silar is that Silar actually wants it.

I really like Lyons. I'd easily rather have him on the roster than Siler. I don't particularly get the love affair with Siler on here.

Watch out for Ivan Harris, 6'8 with a deadly outside shot.
