1. Josh Smith- Obviously the most talented of the group and showed alot of promise this postseason. Making big plays on both ends of the court
2. Marvin Williams- has improved every season. shown flashes of having offensive firepower when Joe Johnson was out and he was given the oppurtunity to have a bigger role in the offense. very solid defensively.
3. Al hoford- Josh smith with half hte talent and a bit more worth ethic. for all the abuse josh got, how often did we see horford for the lack of a better word "spazzing out" and drawing taunting penalties or flat out panicking. Hasnt shown any semblance of an offensive game other than occasioanly hitting a shot 10 feet away from the basket. Has trouble guarding bigger players at the C AND PF position. Lets not forget, when Josh smith got into early foul trouble against boston and horford had to swith over to KG. KG looked like the most unstoppable force to ever step on the court. Horford also impressively made Jermaine O'neal this postseason look like Wilt Chamberlain.

Another Horford hate post... Why does everyone feel the need to hate on him constantly? He has done everything we expected him to do plus more in my opinion. He can very easily develop into a 15/12 type of guy. He is a little small to play center, but he is very serviceable. I will take double-doubles from him and be happy with it. He doesn't need to score, we have plenty of those. But have you noticed if there is a putback bucket its mostly from him or Mo. I don't mind taunting every now and then, because it shows passion. I wish we could all just lay off him and be happy with his double-doubles.

To me, its almost impossible to rank players in the NBA who play different positions. They all bring different things to the table and they all do things that the others can't. All are important to the team and I am happy that all of them are here for a while. These three to me are 2a, 2b, and 2c for the team behind Joe. Depending on the night and which team we are playing they can switch between a,b, and c. I like them all and I still think you just wrote that two hate on Horford a bit.

1. Josh Smith - most talented player on our roster, including Joe Johnson. If he ever develops a brain to compliment his body, he's a huge star (unlikely).
2. Al Horford - has the talent to average a double double for his career. Very underrated defensive player. He'll start for us for a decade, probably make a couple all-star games once he develops a go-to move and gets moved to his natural position.
3. Duck Butt - tremendous shooter, nice vertical leap, average at basically everything else. He's a completely average NBA wingman, and from all accounts a heck of a nice guy. Nothing wrong with that, just wish we could get more than that out of the #2 pick.
