Good read but I have no regrets about the acquisition. As with the Joe Smith signing both players are valued more for their experience and ability to impart knowledge rather than on court abilities. What I notice getting overlooked tremendously was Collins shoulder injury from last summer (can't see how, how many 7 footers do you hear of tipping over golf carts?) and that he only thrives in a team defensive scheme which he has not played in over the past two years. Outside of that he does suck tremendously but given being put back in a winning situation, team scheme, and fact he'll really only see 8 minutes at most in games that feature Shaq, I don't see how he'll hurt us.
