i think he's just playing pick up games with hawks players, like Anthony Johnson, J.Jack others have been doing lately.

Re: Stackhouse over Flip?
I really don't think we need him. It's not a big man and it would basically be a waste of roster spot. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Jerry Stackhouse is done. Maybe he is just trying to stay active and he owns a home here.

I think it's good that he's playing with our guys in the gym, he's done, but he still played long enough in the league that guys like Teague can learn just playing against him.

Re: Stackhouse over Flip?
I don't know if Stack has much to offer on the court anymore, but it couldn't hurt to have guys who have played meaningful playoff minutes at the end of the bench as opposed of having multiple undrafted free agents like Gardner, West, Hunter, Siler, Morris, etc(although the minimum is more for vets). It's obvious that we have done a pretty poor job when it comes to how we approach playoff road games and important road trips-so maybe guys like Stackhouse and Collins would help in that regard.

Re: Stackhouse over Flip?
No disrespect to Stack, but I still take Flip, who did a lot for us last year.
I just think we might miss him in a few games this year.
Where is that approach that a team never has enough good shooters?

Looks like our roster's going to be full, but if we have a open slot, I might sign him to the vet's min just for some more experience on the bench - a mentor if you will.

^ i think i would rather have Othello over Wilks and let Crawford handle some PG if something happens to both Bibby and Teague, and then Stack could help out at both SG and SF.
