1 year contract for the BAE. I have to once again say how much I would prefer Flip on a 1 year 2 million dollar contract compared to having Crawford on a 2 year 20 million dollar contract. I think the Bobcats are a great fit for him- hopefully he gets buried on Larry Brown's bench whenever the Hawks play them!

It's a good fit for flip they can use all the scoring they can get.

I like Sekou...but I wasn't feeling the blog entry he wrote today that basically said Flip wasn't that important. The idea that Mo Evans and Flip Murray had an equal amount of importance in our 10 game improvement from 2008 to 2009 should be a joke to anyone who watched all 82 games last year.

Charlotte will greatly benefit by having Flip (as most of us know). I respect him very much and his leadership. Rather disappointed that he signed within our division, but the man has to get paid, and not too many teams seemed to be knocking at his door.

Good luck to Flip who came through for us more often than not. He got shown how much he was appreciated as it appears no one in mgmt thought we could go further with him in a clutch role.
His numbers are just too cheap to ignore. I would have liked to see him on our bench again this year waiting for a slot to open up.

^^^I noticed. Not bad, decent scorer, bad enough to not leave Teague on the bench but good enough to actually push him some in practice. Thoughts?

Steal for the Bobcats.

Disappointed for Flip that he didn't get a multi year contract, cos after watching him last year, Hawks fans know he deserved it.
