8 Man Rotation

When was the last time the Hawks had this good of an 8 man rotation?
Bibby Crawford
Joe Zaza
Marv Mo
Josh
Al

I don't think I have ever seen us have as athletic of an 8 man rotation as this one, and the best part is that it can easily be expanded to a 10 man rotation with Teague and Joe Smith.

We will be in every game this year because we can score in bunches with many different guys.

We could be the most exciting team to watch this year when we gain more chemistry!

P.S. those aren't the positions for the bench, just the order they are used... I know Zaza isn't a 2 lol

Last year. I don't think Flip is as good as Crawford...but he did a great job for the role we used him in. Any contributions we get from Teague and Joe Smith will be more than the people they replaced though.

If you want to make comparisons...then compare the bench this year to the bench post Bibby trade in 2008 when we ran a 7 man rotation...and on top of that Zaza sucked that year. Chill was the only player who didn't suck on that entire bench.

crawford needs at least 30 to 35 min a night to be successful..he cant play on a short leash he needs freedom......sure he will take some bad shots but what scorer doesnt .....but his unselfishness becomes contagious as seen yesterday

I got to disagree with the minutes part. Jamal may need 30 to 35 minutes a night to put up good stats, but he can make positive contributions to a team win in lesser minutes. Some nights his shot won't be on, but as long as he can still draw defenders, hit the open man, and get to the hole the team should do well. I do agree that you can't pull Jamal just because he's not hitting. Joe doesn't get the quick hook when he's off. You got have faith in your player to work it out and contribute in other ways until he does. Jamal needs the same opportunity to operate that Joe gets. He has to play his game not be worried that if he doesn't hit he'll be sitting. On the other side, some nights the same number of minutes won't be available because other lineups are clicking. The key is winning regardless of whom puts up the numbers.
