All-Star Ballot

Post#1 » by evildallas » Tue Nov 10, 2009 9:59 pm

I'm not sure how the All-Star ballot is decided, but I thought it was interesting that Marvin Williams wasn't on the ballot. Can't complain because there are 5 Hawks on the 60 man ballot for the East. The only team in the NBA with more on the ballot is Boston. 3 is the lowest number for any team. Only rookie on the ballot is Blake Griffin which means it is going to be an even longer shot for Brandon Jennings (touching on an earlier discussion).

Follow-up . . . it turns out the ballot is decided by a panel of NBA writers.

Mike Breen, Doug Smith, Eddie Sefko, Marc Stein, Marc Spears, and Ian Thomsen were mentioned.

Wade and Crawford on the same court and team?Might be one of the Best guard all-star games I can already see Crawfords tricky ball handles shaken people throwing a nice pass to wade. The Top 3 scoring guards on the East with Winning records are D.wade (27ppg),Joe johnson(21.2ppg) and Crawford (18.1ppg)

I find it hilarious that our 6th man is on the ballot and Duck Butt, a former #2 overall pick isn't. Thanks again for that one, Billy Knightmare. I can't believe you haven't been offered another GM job since you left Atlanta! :D
