Why would anyone put a Hawks road game on a national broadcast? I honestly don't care what happens in this game excluding an injury. 6-3(at worst) with everyone relatively healthy going into this home stand would be a good position to be in.

I also like the under as I don't think the Hawks will be able to dictate the tempo.

^^^ That's surprising. You are usually the voice of such optimism and positivity around here.

Can't believe I have to freaking work tomorrow night. I was pumped for this one, too.

If the Hawks come out sluggish like these past few games, its going to get ugly quick..But if they come out fighting and matching Boston's intensity, I think they have a chance to make this a close game.....Go Hawks!

I've got no clue how to handicap this one. We could be in it until the end like last year's early road game in Boston that Pierce won at the buzzer or it could be a complete blowout like our trip up to Boston last April (when KG was out). Not to make light of the televised game, but I think the 4 game home stand starting on Saturday against New Orleans is more important. It would be great to steal a road game against a top team (especially the Celtics), but it would be a wash if we fall to a struggling opponent at home (and worse if we lose both).

With their next 2 against Indiana and Golden State, I would guess that we'll have the Celtics full attention and a-game.

Very difficult for sure.

91% of the public are on the Boston money line.

83% of the public are on the -9 Boston.

60% of the public are on the over.

It looked like the O/U has moved up to 193. I'm surprised that the majority is taking the over. I know from the playoff series alone that the Hawks scored about 25 ppg less in the 4 games at Boston as opposed to the 3 games in Atlanta. The Charlotte and Portland games(also 2 half court teams that play good defense)were also relatively low scoring.

I try to keep things positive around here. I would hope that we keep it competitive for atleast a half before we get our doors blown off. This is the best team in basketball on their home floor against a team that doesnt consistently get up for big games especially on the road. Go Hawks!!

I don't think getting up is the problem, it's staying up.

Alright, other people had to have giggled when they read this.

This should be a tough one. I'm not expecting a win but obviously we're at the point where it wouldn't be too surprising.

I'm not a fan of these ticky tack traveling calls we are getting called on when Boston has a blatantly obvious moving screen just about every possession.

I just love seeing guys travel when nobody is on them. Friggin turnover festival.

You can't take a charge if your foot is inside the circle.

JJ still forcing things. Turnovers just killed the Hawks but rebounding is keeping them in it. They still can't hit their jumpers.

The turnovers are bad...but they're playing hard,no one's gotten hurt, and the under is looking fairly strong.

In it at the half which is surprising given all the turnovers. Our second unit gets a lot of minutes against Boston and are hardly used against New York: Mike Woodson you are an enigma wrapped in a question.

You saw that, too? Horford had a right to complain. I think that's 2 they've called on us that way.

I'm gonna miss the 2nd half and, the way we've been playing, I'll probably regret it.

I know national media hasn't seen much of the Hawks, but we aren't that young anymore. Only Horford and Teague are on their rookie deals. We aren't old, but you don't have to say Young every time you say Hawks.
